Three Polyphonics aid the course of True Love

When Canadian, Sam Sloane, put out the word that he needed 3 members of a barbershop quartet to complete his romatic proposal to the love of his life, Polyphonics members, Gunnar Karlson, Denis Prendergast and Dan O'Regan (Former Musical Director) responded to the call. And so the three romantics travelled on 13th August to Templebar in Dublin to accompany Sam in the singing of "Grow Old With Me" to his sweetheart, Sherry Flippance. Sam then made his maariage proposal.

How could she resist..... of course she accepted

The death has taken place of our dear friend and fellow barbershopper, Dan O' Duffy after an extended period of serious illness.

Dan has been a keen member of the Polyphonics for over ten years and a key member of the of the music team in recent years. He will be missed as an outstanding singer in the baritone line and as an example of a hard working dedicated member of the chorus.

But most of all we will miss his friendship.

We extend our condolences to his wife Annette, their sons Daniel and Philip and to their daughter Michelle.
